I'm sorry but to call the iPhone crap just makes you look silly. Yes it has faults but it's acknowledged by pretty much the entire universe that it is the benchmark in usability. The arena is a cool phone but the touchscreen responses are not as good as the iPhone.

The Arena has much better multimedia capabilities than the iPhone but really, have you ever met anyone that wants to do video editing on their phone? The iPhone counters with the app store and iPhone OS and the best touchscreen around.

Apple dropped the ball big time and it will be another couple of gens before we something substantial from them as far as phone/ pda intergration goes.

The best thing on the iphone is the mp3 player, it has a substandard camera, poor shooting options, no flash, no ability to video record, cannot recieve or send MMS texts, cannot forward texts, has a pc dependant basis for uploading contacts, lacks consistant edge or 3g signal on its web and walk feature across the region i live in or infact anywhere we went with the phone, poor network coverage in some areas, browser is great but has one issue never closes windows so you have do do it manually and that can bloat your web browsing speed/ ability, piss poor batery life, is much larger than the standard phone and heavier.

These are just some of the problems or issues so yeah after spending over £300 i think i can call it a piece of **** of i want, you have been sold on it and dont matter what i say but dont jump up and down and attack people who speak out and had crap experiences with it.

As for the great apps that most people are getting mugged off with, most are smoke and mirrors and i will give some examples-

The apps store advertises a great app for sharing the bill at a resturant where you put in the amount of people and the total bill then it tells you what the cost per head is because you cant put that in the calculator?

You can get a great app for taxis availible in your area, ok so why cant yell.com do the same?

Oh or theres the great spirit level app, ok you try keeping a 3g phone on its side while you move the shelf!

Seriously the iPhone is far from perfect and sadly with all the kiss me arses will not evolve as quick as it should do beacuse people keep telling apple how great it is, its not and needs many things fixing and as i said before give it another couple of gens then we will see a phone that will live up to the apple brand name.
