Well, i prefer this original ending as well , not juz the happy ending part... juz that i was like "wtf?!." feeling when the other ending that he blew himself up ... i mean c'mon... as if that helps.. [thumbdown]

maybe the original ending didn't match the whole "I am legend" scenario closely enough?

might as well have named it vampire apocalypse.

I can still see why they chose to make an alternative... that said I didn't find the ending of the book particularly appealing either.

Im curious, whats the book's ending?..
