you are both wrong. best tires go to the driving axle

meaning, if it's a FWD, they go to the FRONT
if its a RWD, they go to the back

no your wrong.

you'd think that because you steer with front and thats also the way the break balance is shifted that you'd want best tyres on the front....

however for safety reasons, this is wrong. michellin, goodyear etc say so...
