The links you posted aren't NAS drives they can't be connected directly to a network. They are designed to be plugged into a single machine (which could then share it on the network if you wish).

The first site had their own NAS devices at the bottom:

I know these aren't NAS, the question was are the USB devices that that claim to turn standard caddy's into NAS any good as they are cheap
