Not being familiar with the specific USB device that converts to NAS I wouldn't be able to say.

But the words USB and NAS is generally bad anyway as USB's file transfer speeds tend to lag behind those of other connections such as eSata and Sata. The whole point of a NAS is to transfer files.....
