Would somebody tell me what Cannabis isn't available to people with conditions it would help them with?

Because it has side effects. I have an uncle with MS who took it for a while, but ultimately made him feel worse so now doesn't do it anymore.

If anything I think this story indicates the need for better treatment rather than legalising cannabis for the terminally ill.
