Physio is helping for my back. I was told by my doctor not to see a chiropractor, as if you have a herniated disc then having your back "cracked" can make it worse, not better. What I need is to build up my core muscle strength to counteract the weakness from the herniated disc.
Well, that's what separates a good chiropractor from a bad one. One that knows what he is doing will look at your MRI and X-Rays, and know exactly what to do and what not to do (i.e. rack and crack). Mild subluxation can do wonders to not only relieve the pain, but remove surrounding inflammation which will enable the area to heal faster.
