I have tension headache. It starts with tense muscles in my shoulder and goes up my neck right to my skull.. Sometimes I even feel it going behind one of my eyes.

A small movement with moving my head makes it feel like someone bounces on it with a sledgehammer..

I feel that breathing through my mouth relieves it somewhat. The doctor gave me valium with a painkiller to relax the muscles and painkiller for the obvious. But when I feel this coming I take 2 400mg Ibuprofens and that seems to help wonders for me!

Maybe Ibuprofen helps you too

Feel better soon[yes]
Iburofen is not a migraine medicine, just a painkiller, so I doubt it is going to help, also speaking from experience. Iburofen only sometimes helps my conventional headaches. relieving migraines is all about taking care of the problem itself and not the symptoms(i.e. pain, dizziness...) afaik.

maybe ask a neurologist to prescribe you a pill that's meant for migraines?
