I've been suffering from headaches/migraines for about 8 years now. I have a headache every minute of every day, never any relief. I used to have migraines roughly every 3 days. I went to countless neurologists, tried countless meds including experimental ones. I even wound up in the ER with reactions to some of those meds. After going through countless doctors for about 5 years I gave up and just decided to live with it. I also get Auras. Once I was driving and completely lost my vision for about 5 seconds. It felt like 10 minutes though. Luckily I was on a straight section of the road. I just let off of the gas and coasted straight.

Anyway, after a few years of doing nothing, I decided to try something again. Got a few more CT scans and they found nothing. Tried a few more painkillers and nothing. Then I went to the Chiropractor. I've been going for about a year now and only have a migraine once every 2 months or so. I still have a headache every day, but I can deal with that.

I watch my diet as well. There are things that set off my migraines. Too much fried/fatty foods, chocolate, sugar, even dust can all set it off.

My next step is to see an allergist.
idchoppers, I found that if I'm in a very good shape (doing a lot of aerobic like running\swimming) these migraines occur much more rarely, if any. I suggest that you start exercising like crazy.

I've also been used to get an aura migraine after playing basketball with friends. it happened every time after I played (about 30-40 mins after). so I have decided to get into real good shape, I swam and ran most days of the week, usually 5 times a week and when I got back to playing basketball, after about half a year I last played, things were much better and I didn't experience anything.

so start working on it.
