What i dont understand is why didnt the girls tell someone. I mean did they have any family? I think someone should of caught onto what the father was doing and eventually called the police. Also the girls were raped for 27 years so that make them 27 and up right? So wouldnt they of just moved out or ran away at like 16, 17. Im confused...

It emerged that in 1998 one daughter rang Childline, a charity to help abused kids, and asked for assurances about being able to keep her children if she came forward. When Childline could not make that guarantee, the daughter did nothing more to raise her plight. Despite visiting hospitals and meeting with social workers over the 27 years of abuse, no investigation was launched into the family. The man should die for what he did, but I find those two things even worse. There was opportunity to stop it years ago, but nothing was done by the people who should have done something. That makes me even more sick.
