The man should die for what he did, but I find those two things even worse. There was opportunity to stop it years ago, but nothing was done by the people who should have done something. That makes me even more sick.
I have zero respect for child protective services and other like agencies. After telling my wife's younger sister that it was her fault and blaming her for being a bad kid... Its just sickening and pathetic. Way to go. Tell an abused child its their fault they're abused.

I hear about it all the time. Even from kids I know are abused. Kids I went to school with. Everyone assumes the kid is always making things up, or is exaggerating. A busted lip... some bruises... nah.. that's just good old fashioned punishment.

Crap like this doesn't surprise me. The system should have protected these children, but like with so many others it didn't. It looks like over the pond is no different than this country.

you can all-out cold-blooded kill 5, and you still have the morals to deplore a rapist or child molester. There's something ironic, yet poetic about that.
Some people deserve to die, but nobody ever deserves to be raped.
