Just saw it yesterday... and I must say I liked it. A lot.

I can understand many people won't though. The plot is kinda thin... or rather confusing to say the least. But the new 007 is basically lost in this episode. He's lost the woman he loved (after she betrayed him), he loses support from MI6, he is in a very rough state of mind, and that's the atmosphere I liked in that movie. And he doesn't even get the girl. Actually, he doesn't even WANT the girl!

Basically Bond is different. He's got nothing to do anymore with the previous ones. He's badass but he's in trouble. Makes him more human, and likeable.
