That's first video is not impressive to me at all. That car is an HPI Nitro RS4 with the Stage D drift conversion and an HPI D-Box. The HPI D-Box is a gyro that controls the steering to make it easy to drift the car. Basically you turn and the gyro takes over keeping the car from spinning. It does all the work for you.


When I was about 8 my brother used to race RC cars at a dirt track. It was such a big event and a LOT of people were into it. I think it was around 1989 or so. Now, unfortunitely nobody is even into it anymore.

Those vids are awesome! You just brought back some good memories [thumbup]

Remember the RC/10 and the King Cab?
I don't know if there are any near where you live, but R/C racing is still extremely popular, you can look to see if there are any ROAR sanctioned races in your area here.
