When I was going to have braces fitted I was told I had too many teeth, I needed 4 molars taken out, 1 in each corner of the mouth.

9 injections, my whole mouth jaw etc... felt like it was gone. I'm quite certain the dentist when to B&Q for the tool to take out my teeth. Some big pliers and she was struggling!...
My whole mouth was numb for a few hours, had difficulty swallowing my saliva so it all dribbled out the front, talking was an hilarious effort, should have recorded myself
They took all your teeth out at the same time? When I had to have couple of teeth out for braces they did them separately, did one one day and the other another.

Are you guys talking about injections into the gums or the arm?

I've had the gum ones but never into the arm, I'm assuming it's more of a general aneasthetic thing and I'll be out of it lol
I doubt they'd give a general anaesthetic just for a tooth extraction. In fact I don't think they're allowed to anymore. If a general anaesthetic is needed I think you have go to hospital.
