Then where am I wrong?
Don't take this the wrong way. By all means I do not want to start an argument with you. To me, though, and I speak only for myself, everything that you said sounds very regurgitated and extremely subjective. Maybe it's something you heard on TV, or heard your father or preacher say once. What ever it may be, it does not sound like something that a person who actually thought about the topic in an objective way would say.

It's absolutely fine to say that you hate cigarettes and people who smoke. It is also fine that you think that banning smoking in public places is a good thing. But disguising your personal and selfish agenda behind a fake concern for human health and hypothetical situations with "so if"s and "could've"s does not make you right about anything. In fact it displays a lack of knowledge and understanding, as well as independent thought process.
