Anyone know what are the best-selling/most sought after brands in the US with regards to leisure wear/trainers.

I was always told Nike are seen as rather cheap and crap being so common, yet over here you can pay in excess of $200 for a non special edition pair.

I'm just trying to find some brands I may not have heard of to have a look at their range.
