Personally for me my exception is that if she was raped or lost her husband/father of child, then I would be okay with dating a single mom. I just have this icky feeling knowing that this woman I might potentially date had an unplanned pregnancy, or that she decided to have a kid too soon and then get divorced/separated. She just doesn't seem like a bright woman, if you know what I mean. Kind of like a woman dating a guy who's been in jail. Not the smartest choice.

That's too bad that this girl lets you get attached to the child and then does some dirty stuff behind your back. Now that she's gone, you don't get to spend time with the child. That's another reason why it sucks. If the relationship doesn't work out, then all the time you invested into the child is lost. Plus now the kid is probably messed up also because he/she lost you as a step-father. So now this kid may grow up to be messed up. It's this cycle ...
