Well its pretty abundant here in the US, mostly from mass producers though(think fast food) I can't stand that stuff! Like my beer I prefer small batch stuff, which is pretty expensive.

That said, its very good to have friends that hunt which I have a couple, but not enough to keep me happy in deer jerky for to long, which like has been said... some of the best.

We sometimes have the kind of meat that would be good for jerky at a really good price near me, but I've just never put the effort into trying it myself, thats why I look to people like Golem and anyone else that has knowledge.
