I know Aussies like to gloat about how hot it is... but Phoenix USA takes the cake! Fark is was hot there.

One good thing about the USA is they have ozone. So you can be in the sun without sun cream and not get too burnt, unlike Aussie ozone which will fry you 15 minutes flat.
Been to Cairns or further up during Summer? I here its quite cool in Melbourne compared to here (Newcastle or Lake Macquarie region). I'm actually considering going down there. I here houses are cheap, and the cooler weather is a bonus.

And I agree about the ozone. Working on my car on a sunny day for about 15-20 minutes and got pretty bad sunburns on my arms. And I always bring sun cream with me when I go to the beach. I got severely burnt once, had to sleep with a few ice packs, couldn't move, lasted a little over a week before skin started to peel. Than the skin was a funny dark brown, grey colour which was a little odd. I'll never forget that.

And how longs it take in the US before you get sunburnt? I really don't mind the heat, but you only have to forget to put sun cream on, or miss a spot on your body and your pretty much screwed.
