I was talking in general, mostly referring to "cold places getting colder" January and February are the coldest months in Finland. The day temperatures will start to rise quite rapidly from March on with the hot sun shining for over 12 hours and increasing every day. Night temperatures will remain well below -10 C still for a long time, though.
I bet it snows there too. I've never even seen snow before. Well I've seen snow in a few TV shows and movies.
