really? so there's no check for anything at all? i don't have my passport yet but i'm sure i can get it processed in 30 days, i can just drop off the application to the center here since it's just a 10 minute drive from my place

I wouldn't hold you breath on that man. The wait is insane with all people getting them to travel to the US now. You will be very lucky if you can get it in 30 days.
