Are all on Blu-Ray !!! (and all brilliant films)

Well yeah there are shitloads of movies on bluray, but not all of them are worth recommending just because the movie is good. I learned that valuable lesson after buying Lord of War on Bluray. Only the transfers that are really good deserve to be bought on that media, else you might as well buy the dvd and save 50-80% of the price.

Btw Hot Fuzz just came to mind, which is a very good transfer! Buy it if you liked the movie.

@salty: Why would anyone hate you because Goodfellas is not your cup of tea?

There are shitloads of movies I don't like that other people love to death, even movies that score 8.5+ on imdb

Field of Dreams comes to mind (was recommended on FM so I rented it last week), I kept waiting for a good moment to come, but the movie was over before it happened. Probably way too american for me [yes]
