No, it's not fake. This was announced at the Macworld keynote thing the other day. A couple people here on FM paid to have theirs upgraded, too.

God, talk about pathetic. If i had something like that, and was told to PAY to get fixes like that... Apple would find an iPod strapped to a brick flying through their window....[thumbdown]
