This and a door snake would do wonders I think.

What the hell is a door snake?

I'm assuming something that goes around the door to insulate it. Wouldn't work tbh, especially when winter rolls around. Smoke has no place to go but into the hall, or through the wall.

Whatever, that's his problem. Either he figures out a way to fix the issue or he's smoking outside.
