Finally! [thumbup] [thumbup] [thumbup]

This movie is coming out to replace the horrible first AvP movie. They listened to the fans and went back and:
-made the predators less bulky (read less armor) and more how they were in the predator movie (tall and thin).
-FINALLY set the damn thing on earth- something alien screenwriters have been trying to do since alien 3.
-Not toning down the langague and violence to appel to the family crowd

is this set in past present or future....

because I cannot figure out why ripley is in it when the other charactures seem like current times people.

good effects but alas its bound to be shite .

Good question. I kind of forgot about this film, but my guess would be she's not playing ripley, but just a cameo by the acteress.
I dunno about it being bad- they went out of their way to correct the mistakes they made in the last 2 alien movies and the last AvP, hopefully it'll be good [thumbup]

edit: what kind of HD is 1280 x 554?
