Yeah SF is great place to visit but I don't think I'd want to live there. They have just about the highest average cost of living in CA with close to the worst weather. I pay out the ass where I'm at down south, but at least its 70-80 degrees in the summer and 60-70 in the winter..... nice and reliable Going back to SF in September. Interesting thing about the Costco in the city there, its in a ghetto part of town near this place called "Canned Food Outlet" where they literally sell old dented cans and shit other stores sold back to their suppliers. I went in there just to check it out and I gotta tell you it was an eye opener. I can only assume the majority of their shoppers were EFT/food stamps and they did not appear to be living high on the hog at all. Amazing the type of difference having a few extra bucks can make when shopping even if you do look for the best deals around. For some people, being a good enough shopper to get adequate nutrition for their entire family means risking botulism
