Yeah SF is great place to visit but I don't think I'd want to live there. They have just about the highest average cost of living in CA with close to the worst weather. I pay out the ass where I'm at down south, but at least its 70-80 degrees in the summer and 60-70 in the winter..... nice and reliable

Going back to SF in September. Interesting thing about the Costco in the city there, its in a ghetto part of town near this place called "Canned Food Outlet" where they literally sell old dented cans and shit other stores sold back to their suppliers. I went in there just to check it out and I gotta tell you it was an eye opener. I can only assume the majority of their shoppers were EFT/food stamps and they did not appear to be living high on the hog at all.

Amazing the type of difference having a few extra bucks can make when shopping even if you do look for the best deals around. For some people, being a good enough shopper to get adequate nutrition for their entire family means risking botulism
They don't have those down there?? They are all over here..... Perhaps for many that is the illusion of getting a deal, a no brainer, the dented can has to be cheaper than store X...............

SF has a pretty uniform temp, almost year round..... 55-65 is the norm. Not much higher, & not much cooler... The ocean & bay see to that....

Many pay a high premium to be in the foggy part of town/east bay.........

I am more of a warm weather person as well........ If it was my call we found't have a fall or winter........ Let those that wanna ski & all that move back to Colorado or SWISSconsin or whereever else they came from
