I never said I was getting it for the keyboard/case -- it's just nice to know that is an option. Even with the case it would still be easily portable. I already have a tablet so I know what they're like, I want a bigger screen. The new one is supposed to be very fast with 4g and have better clarity than a 1080 TV screen due to the retinal display.

I just got a new one about two months ago (I've had them since they've come out though), it's marginally better and I suppose larger but other than not being able to use the same case I had for the older iPad I can't tell the difference and the display for the most part looks the same as before other than quite possibly looking somewhat sharper playing movies during the day.

I didn't say that's what you said only that I wouldn't get one just because of a cool case.

As I'd posted before, part of what makes the iPad great is if you have an iPhone or a Macbook or even Apple TV - what I do on my iPhone (appointments, meetings, contacts, notes, music, videos, podcasts, whatever) automatically integrates across all devices.

Also if you have a movie on your iPad, and if you have Apple TV - you can live stream that movie to your television on a WI-FI network via an iPad - which is cooler than having to download movies to flash drives then play 'em on the television.
