Yeah, they are out now. Apple called it the New iPad, though not so certain about the name. it is thinner and lighter than the iPad 2 and the battery does last longer as well. As for the keybaord, I am still trying to get used to the Virtual Interface. it takes a bit of getting used, and the one thing I detest is the "autocorrect" feature, especially when typing on a forum with acronyms, abbreviations, etc, etc. I like mine, but overall as far as the Android vs iPad debate, it all comes down to what you are going to use it for. The Apple iPad is ahead of the game as far as App's and features go, but the nice thing about the Android devices is that the majority of the Apps are free. There are a lot of free Apps for the iPad as well, but to get the truly functional App's you usually have to pay.
