Recently I've been getting massively fluctuating pings (mostly high), which is most obvious when trying to play games, where I rarely last 2 minutes before being kicked. I've tried running two different anti-spyware programs, two different antivirus, a connection optimiser, everything.

I am on a wireless connection, but have been for the last 2 years and it's been fine until now (with pings of 20-50ms usually). This is due to the router being on a high shelf just below my PC which is on my bedroom floor. 100% signal.

Sooo, any suggestions?
