got an odd question for ye.

did you ever try those nicorette chewing gums as part of your giving up routeen ?

am I the only one to have sufferedhiccups when chewing them.

anyone else experiance this ?
LOL - Sounds like a very interesting side-effect.
I can't say we ever used chewing gum to help us give up cancer sticks.
Both me (and the then fiancee, now wife) decided to give up about three years ago.
We decided to take the Cold Turkey route.
We decided when we would do it, had our final cigarette at midnight on the Saturday evening, threw away what cigarettes we had left and let nature take it's course.

Here we are three years later.
Since that final midnight cigarette my other half has never had a single cigarette and I've had one.
(I lied and made the mistake of not throwing away the cigarettes I had left, so 24hrs later I had one - so I've officially been a non-smoker for a day less than my other half).
It was the best thing we ever did.
We saved a hell of a lot of money, both of us felt healthier and neither of us now stink of cigarettes.
Personally I'm looking forward to July 1st when we more or less go smoke free.
