If I had that kind of money, these are the kind of cars that I would debate

-Buick Regal or a Pontiac Grand Prix
Fairly low mileage (usually just under or over 100,000 miles)
3.8L V6 Supercharged 240hp / 280ft.-lbs of torque

-VW Golf / Jetta TDI (Diesel) 45mpg average, maybe a little higher

-Chevy K-5 Blazer / Dodge Ramcharger

Buick/Pontiac, A nice extremely comfy car, ok mileage (20mpg), smooth tranny, and a really awesome sleeper car. Get to own some unsuspecting people in. Plus it isn't that hard to get it pushing 300+hp, but it is a bit expensive. Downside is that it is an auto, but it is supposed to be a kicka$$ tranny though.

VW, can't beat the mileage. Freaking AWESOME. Plus diesel is always cheaper. Downside is that it has no power. I am sure you can mod it to hell and back though.

Chevy/Dodge, it will take you anywhere on gravel or in the mud. Powerful V8, awesome looking, high up, can rip through any terrain. Downside is 14mpg doesn't look nice at the pump. Done it before and I am not sure if I want to do it again.
