I believe the Mars bars are made with chocolate, nougat and almonds and the Milky Way bar is chocolate, nougat and caramel.

Snickers recently came up with Snickers with Almonds which reminded me of the Mars bar.

The Mars bar in the UK is different from the US one, it's similar to the US Milky Way - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_Bar
