Wait, you were texting while this was going on? He probably thought you were reaching for a weapon, getting rid of drugs, or some other shady act until he was close enough to see it was a cell phone; then he realized you were just a jackass. Seriously, what’s the deal with being attached to the cell phone 1,000,000% of the time?!

When you add that to getting out of the vehicle and then questioning why you had to get back into it, I could see where his straight to the point attitude and whole nine yards came from.

Also, about the spot light and everything else, he probably didn’t want to get Fing shot or something that night so he was using everything he had to make the situation as safe for HIM as possible.
