No one answered my question...

What if he put white rapper?
Then we would have assumed it was Eminem.

While the original title didn't bother me, I do agree that using the word "black" was pointless. If its an attempt to point out the current issues with the rap genre in terms of how it demeans women, etc., then there's no need to specify that he was a "black rapper". The issues with rap music go beyond color. I've heard white, black, hispanic, and asian rappers all singing the same do drugs bang women stuff. The issues are certainly not race oriented at all, but appear to be an issue with the entire rap culture. Or at least most mainstream rap anyway. Was it needed? No. Does it really matter? No.

That being said, about the person who mentioned not letting kids stick their hand in a toaster. You tell them not to do it and you explain why. Same goes for stoves and light sockets. If they don't listen or don't understand about the stove being hot they touch it when you're not around and they learn their lesson. They have now learned an important life lesson and suffer with the pain for a while. The knowledge gained lasts a life time, the pain is only temporary. Besides, it was their choice to make. Parents and society can only direct children to the proper path, but children must make their own choices. Our choices are what make us who we are. Therefore everyone should be free to make their own choices and accept the consequences of their actions.
