There was a database problem that persisted for a few hours. The fix has been applied and everything seems to be running smoothly again.

Actually, funnily enough I didn't think of posting here that I was fixing the FM forum - it's never made any sense to post to the boards that the boards are down. Of course, from now on it does - unless both are down
