TBH I don't know what yankee is. I thought it was a term for all US people

(In california my entire life btw)

I don't get why people call Soda "Coke". Whenever I hear that it makes me want to smack them. I always heard it referred to "Coke" in alabama- I was glad to get out of there.

I've never heard of Bubbler, but I use both Water fountain and Drinking fountain.


BAH! It's WRONG. It's not a southern thing, it's just incorrect! It's like saying I'm going to go around calling tea lipton now too.
So it is wrong, I know that. But when you grow up hearing people say it all your life then you don't know any different really until you are older, and by then its habbit.
