That's why it's only $225,000... Sometimes you get what you pay for, I'm not saying the Veyron is worth 'all' of it's money, but that whole package was built from scratch to be a supercar, it hasn't just been 'tuned up' like the Hennessey. Many other cars might match the Veyron on pure BHP and straight line speed (the Veyron is actually electronically limited to 253mph btw, and still apparently runs smooth at that speed instead of 'shaking itself to death'), but the engine/clutch on a Veryon (as well as the transmission) has been built by VW to last in excess of 100,000 miles, I don't think many other 'Supercars' would have that same kind of reliability level. Basically, the Veyron is in a different 'class', and love it or hate it I don't think anyone can really argue with that.
