I cant remember the exact volume but its something like -34db or higher.
Ive checked all the speaker connections and they seem fine, also the colling fan at the back is working fine, and facing the correct way [no]

Without seeing it its really hard to say, its sounds like the protection circuit but it could be cutting in for any number of reasons, best bet is try and find a local tech who can have a look and see whats going on .

Edit: If you can try and find a panasonic dealer as they are the same company as technics (matsushita corp) and will be able to get spares easily if needed
