How many channels do the uk get on terrestrial tv?

In ireland we get RTE 1, RTE 2, TV Three and T na G (which is an irish channel)

Basically we get 3 crappy channels considering T na G is broadcast in irish (who the hell speaks irish anymore, yet we still have to learn it in school and pass it in order to get into any college)

Anyway a TV license here is €158 / £105 and there is never anything on. Im glad i have Sky or i would go absolutely crazy.
