Its a bit cheesy to be honest mate. How about something like:

"I am a motivated and conscientious person, comfortable working as part of a team, or individually if required. With previous experience in an assistant manager function, I am confident providing motivation and support to my colleagues as necessary. I relish new challenges, and would welcome the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to your company"
