assalamu 'alaykum, It's the Barelwi version of Tablighi Jamat. They wear their signature green turbans. The founder I think copied the TJ format but made slight modifications such as referring to jamats as madni kaflay and reducing the 40 day chilla to 30 days. They also have a "tasawwuf" element to their organization such as being required to give baya' to their main pir. Furthermore, they have their own version of Fadhail-e-Amal as well, it's referred to as Faizan-e-Sunnat. Dawat-e-Islami was founded in 1980 by an 'atr (perfurme) seller named Ilyas Qadri. The organization has a large following in Pakistan. They are known for providing loads of food (and halwa) to their devotees and women also attend their events.
