Mawlana was referring to your claim that people who have anything to say about Saudia somehow have a "biased hatred" about it. Most of us don't wish destruction of Saudia but know that the Islam is not the top priority of the government since non-Saudi and non-Arab Muslims are regularly discriminated against, harassed, and abused.

As for military unity, why not count Pakistan, the only country with nuclear weapons?

Yes, to the point on both matters. The Saudi's have created alot of tension and hatred themselves - its hardly biased stance just for the sake of it. People do not wake up one morning and suddenly dislike for no apparent reason. That article was the tip of the iceberg, not just for Saudi but the Gulf and several countries in MENA region. Ordinary Kuffar would treat you in a more civil manner than that.

An Islamic union would be unthinkable without Pakistan. Rather toothless array of nations making alot of noise. Problem is.... a new Islamic Union may not be needed because there already is one - OIC. Would it be worth trying to make that work for Muslim interests. I guess a few changes would be needed like removing permanent US/EU monitors etc. They should never have been allowed in the first place.
