Haji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki (Rahmatullahi Alayhi) was such a great personality that the title given to him by his contemporary Ulama was “Sheikhul Mashaikh” which means the leader of leaders.

Haji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki (ra) is a huge personality. Haji sahab (ra) was not a scholar. When Moulana Qasim Nanotovi (ra) who needs no introduction but is commonly known as an ocean of knowledge, much of his work in its originality is not understood even by ulama, when such a personality as Hazrat Qasim Nanotovi (ra) was asked why he went to Haji sahab (ra) and took him as his shaikh he said, "I went to Haji sahab not impressed by his miracles but impressed by his knowledge." So imagine that Hazrat Qasim Nanotovi (ra) being impressed by Haji sahabs uloom, what kind of knowledge Haji sahab (ra) must have had!
