Narrated 'Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle Peace Be Upon Him said,
"No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."
[Bukhari Volume 7, Book 70, Number 544]

{…it may be that you dislike a thing through which Allaah brings a great deal of good.}
[An Nisaa’ 4:19]

"Verily, with hardship there is relief"
(Qur'an 94:6)
