Isnt urdu in the family of languages from Arabic and Hebrew, hence 40% of the vocab is Arabic ?

Didnt it develop when Arabs muslims migrated down south to India ?

Isnt Hindi, the main Indian language of films and commerce, just a variant on urdu ?
Ultimately all languages meet together up some where in the linguistic chain.
The amusing thing is that Urdu is a meeting point of two rather diverse branches of the linguistic genealogies.
Engineer Vijyendra has done an excellent job on the topic - please do read that if you have not already.
