sharia finance & haraam finance is one thing. but what are we doing about those things where we can make a difference & do in the manner accepted by Allah & his Rasul SAWS. its like not being happy with what is on tv but you still watching. complaining that you not allowed to make adhaan over the loud speaker but you dont make all your salah.
Ok, but if someone needs to pay interest on a mortgage and if the economy is run along unislamic lines it makes it very difficult for individual Muslim to live as Muslims...money is tight, finding a job that pays enough is hard...on top of that one that allows praying salat is even more difficult. Ok when we are not at work we should pray our salaat anyway...but some of us are so exhausted by the work day they just want to collapse at home...I know this is not a good enough excuse...but there needs to be Wholistic change not just partial change. A group of Muslims numbering hundreds and thousands should be doing something collectively as a Jamaat to establish halal money, halal trade and halaal government. We should have local Amirs who will collect our zakaat from us and use it in the way that Islamic law says...we should work towards creating markets like the sunnah market in Madina......no Jammats do this...all of us are just doing the individual faraids. All Jamaats of Muslims should at least have political leadership, where they decide what the community will do and how they will collect and distribute Zakat money. Zakaat is a pillar of Islam, it is not the same as Sadaqa, Zakaat is supposed to be collected by a leader.
