The most simple and yet the most powerful duaa, be always grateful to Allah swt for everything and always say "elhamdulillahi rabbil alameen" no matter what and insha'Allah Allah swt will increase your wealth.
Yes, it is narrated that the Imam of Ahl al-Bayt, Ja`far as-Sadiq, once said, "ash-shukr hafiz al-ni`ma" thankfulness sustains blessings.

Thankfulness, by part of divine promise, will increase the good you have. Sinfulness will decrease your blessings. Du'a asking Allah to make one wealthy is another means to closeness to Allah. There are many people who have made du'a and become wealthy. There is also giving sadaqa which will increase one's wealth in the hereafter and not decrease one's wealth in this life -- as our Beloved informed us. Imam al-Shadhili has Hizb al-Rizq as one of his ahzab that you can find in a book of awrad.

But, let us also remember the sahabi who went to the Prophet asking him to make du'a that he become wealthy. The Prophet rejected the request, but after the sahabi kept coming asking for du'a the Prophet then made du'a that the person become wealthy. The person then indeed became wealthy, but quit coming to salat, and quit giving zakat, and it ruined him.

However, our master the Victorious Lion of Allah, the one who even looking at him is `ibadah, Sayyidina `Ali ibn Abi Talib (karam Allahu wajjahu) is narrated to have said, "If poverty was a man I would have killed him." This is because poverty is extremely hard. Allah and his Prophet ask us to help the poor as much as we can. Poverty is an extremely hard trial, may Allah protect us from it.

Surat al-Waqiy`ah is probably the best thing to read.

was Salam.
