^Thank you for the reply. Just so that I am sure I read your post correctly, the above version of the final sermon of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) comes from the Sahih Hadith of Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal (and is backed up by other Sahih Hadiths), correct?

What I understood is the whole sermon is got from several hadith put togather. And the hadith from Imam Ahmad has most of the contents of the last sermon. It is complete by the other hadith mentioned in the other books. I hope you got the point.
