where are those located?

Theres a few places in the north west and not just the Lake District

Most of the places have hardly any asians let alone bearded and niqab'd women about so if you don't mind sticking out abit, they are good places.

Ive found that just smile, say hello,be pleasent and the locals can be friendly.

EDIT:

Found out where Eureka is. are there any prayer/wudhu facilities?
Eureka is in Halifax. Magna Science Museum is in Sheffield. There are no special wudhu/salah facilities but Halifax has local masaajid and Bradford is about 15-20 min drive away. We find the best thing is to just pray in a quiet corner somewhere.

With regards to 'sticking out' from the crowd, I suppose after a while you grow immune to it. Although we are anything but inconspicuous: my husband in his long white clothes, hat and beard and me in my jalbaab/niqab and all our children trailing us in their similar attire, I don't think we get many stares or comments. Or maybe we just don't notice them...

Also, for entertainment, boys of all ages will love paintballing. They can never get enough of that!
