how many people are capable of doing that themselves?you are assuming everyone is fully knowledgeable about Islam to read a new text , judge it on islamic texts and laws, take the good and leave the bad.
the example of the Quraish does not apply here in the slightest. there is no question of good or bad in the Propeht (PBUH)'s teachings. it is Islam

It's not like Maulana Maududi's books are filled with a mixture of good and bad. His book on hijab and purdah is all good, book on jihad praised by Syed Sulaiman Nadwi, Tafhim al Quran covers only basics of Islam. Just don't read Khilafat-o-Malukiat. No genius needed for that.
